Foolish fash frat

While desi designers would confidently declare that Indian fashion has finally arrived, I can’t find logic to their claim. Ego hassles and coinciding fashion weeks will hamper the evolution of Indian fashion. I admit that it was of supreme importance to FDCI and FFI topnotch to satisfy their ego and draw a line to divide the fashion week, but look what they have done.

Physical Relationship with Bike

With power comes bigger responsibilities; with big bikes comes bigger bill and ego issues.

Yesterday, on my way to office, I was riding (Royal Enfield Electra 5 speed) in the bicycle lanes (yes, I break rules and enjoy it too) of BRT. A silly biker suddenly came on my way and completely unaware, I lost control on my heavy-duty bike and suddenly a ‘physical relationship’ was established between my ankle area and the silencer. Club BCCI or Team India
(3) comments,   (0) trackbacks

Often it comes to my mind that to what extent the ‘Indian Cricket Team’ is truly Indian. With the kind of cricket monopoly BBCI is enjoying, I suggest that Indian Cricket team should be renamed as Club India similarly on the lines of several soccer clubs.

There are several reasons behind my proposal — Firstly, BCCI, unless it is a club, has no right to ban players from participating in other leagues like ICL. After all cricket isn’t BCCI’s property. Secondly, players must be held accountable for their behaviour on the field and also about their non-cricket commitments, unless they belong to a franchise that I propose. Thirdly, there has to be transparent voting pattern in selection committee that should be made public because BCCI has to justify why ‘once a star cricketer’ like Ganguly is humiliated and left out midway inspite of his comparatively better performance when we are still carrying other liabilities like Sachin, Dravid, Bhajji and several others. ...

Saurav Ganguly resigns

The Sun will finally set. Ganguly's announcement to retire post Aussie series is indeed surprising. More that being surprised, I am dissappointed. Agreed that Gaguly played smart games in dressing rooms and on the field, but the kind of treatment BBCI has given him hurts me as cricket fan.
